Scrapbook Layout: Hello Lovely

Hello my crafty friends.  Thank you for stopping by for another colorful and bold layout of mine.  My younger sister and my mom look like twins.  And when I am added to the mix, we are definitely triplets.  My sister came for a recent visit all the way from Jersey to south Florida were she was insistent on pictures on the beach.    I have to admit, all the pictures from that photo shoot are great.
I am using the July Clique Kit for this layout.  It featured the Chickaniddy 365 collection and I used the Daily Schedule for my background patterned paper.  I cut 1/2 inch stripes of The Good Life (yellow/white) and one inch stripes of Smell the Roses to create this woven basket like effect.  The colored were in all unified and worked well to create this effect.
The emphemra pieces with some phrases on them are from another cut apart sheet called Cloud 9.  The puffy key stickers and triangles are all from the kit as well.

I have a process video for this layout as well.  Please take a moment to watch and subscribe to my YouTube Channel.
Thank you,
Evi

Mixed Media Scrapbook Layout: I said YES!

I am so excited to scrap this photo.  I had to dry up those tears of happiness in order to take this picture.  Miguel proposed to me on my birthday weekend in Las Vegas.  We went to a concert that evening and then went to the top of the Stratosphere hotel out on the balcony...where he got down on one knee.  I was in the middle of taking pictures of the beautiful skyline of Vegas with all the lights... and immediately started crying tears of joy.  I knew it was coming, but did not expect it at all at that moment.  He even had a photographer hiding to capture it all cause he knew i would want to scrapbook these photos.

used the July Clique Kit for this layout.  The silver foiled paper is called Silver Surfer by Chickaniddy and the b/w paper is A little bit of love.  I used clear liquidtex gesso to give the sleek paper a bit of tooth.

I used the Dylusion Acrylic pain in Postbox red and Cut Grass for the roses.  The stencil used was by The Crafter's Workshop called Cabbage Roses in a 12x12.  The black and white striped letter were also apart of this months kit along with the emphemra.  It was the cut apart page called Cloud 9.  The wood veneers were from my stash and I used Pink Colorshine on them.

Mixed Media Scrapbook layout: Life is full of Joy

Good morning my scrapbooking friends.  Life is full of joy is absolutely right!  I loved this 4x6 card that came in this July's Clique Kit.  There were so many pictures to decide between for this layout.  I have a few with my sister and mom that I will use coming up.  But, in the end, I decided on this picture of me and my now fiancé.  This was taken the week before he asked me to marry him, so he is just my boyfriend still in this picture.  lol.

The kit features the 365 Chickaniddy collection and I am using the Day Dreamer patterned paper for the background.  The ink splatters are using the Daler and Rowney Acrylic Artisit Inks in Turquoise, Fluorescent Pink and Fluorescent orange.  The inks definitely had to dry over night.  It was simply too wet to use with a heat gum or absorbing some with a paper towel.

The pictures and card were matted with High Spirit patterned paper and the embellishments are the cut apart page named Cloud 9.  I also added pink and blue tissue paper to the layout.  The puffy stickers and brads were all included in the kit and are apart of the 365 Chickaniddy collection.
I also did a process video for this layout.  Please take a minute to watch.

Scrapbook Layout: July Clique Kit

Hello crafty friends.  Welcome to the Clique Kit pep rally and blog hop.  Thank you for stopping by in your journey to see everyone layouts.  This is my first time participating in this event and I wanted to create something fun and colorful.  I started off this layout with the speciality kraft paper provided in the July Clique Kit.  It has this bright hot pink confetti look to it, so i decided to continue making pink confetti with two of the other patterned papers in the kit.  The pink and white damask one is called High Spirits and the tone and tone one is Measured Memories.  I used a 1.5 inch punch as well as a 2 inch circle punch.

The three photos of me and my mini doxie Zoe were taken last week.  She is many of my scrapbook layouts.  I matted them originally on turquoise tissue paper and decided to change it to hot pink to keep the layout tone on tone.

The flair button, wood veneer and pink brad were all provided in the July kit.  The only items not from the kit were the few word labels, the branding strips on the bottom and the hot pink project life card, they were all from my stash.  The shimmer pink splatters were done using the Tattered Angels Shimmer mists in Strawberry Cream.
The picture on the left is me joining Zoe on the carpet, for one of her many requests, for a belly rub.  She adores having her belly rubbed and lays down at people's feet as they enter my home begging for her belly rub.  So in order to capture this moment I had a treat in my hand and my phone in the other on Selfie mode and rapid fired like 5 shots before she flipped over and licked my face.  lol.  When I got on my hands and knees from her licking my face I took the up close and personal shot of her with her big chocolate nose all in front.  lol.  Then i was going to lunch and snapped the third one that same day.  Zoe is the best.
I have also done a process video for this layout.  Please take a moment to watch it and subscribe.

Mixed Media Scrapbook Layout: Hello Sunshine

Hello scrapbooking friends.  I have a fun and colorful layout to show you today.  I love the Simple Stories, Summer Vibes collection and need the rest of the patterned papers.  The background paper is from this collection and it is called Shine On.  It is gorgeous and looks like this sun burst with its rays shining down with a mix of reds, oranges and yellows.  It beautiful.  I used modeling paste and mixed bright yellow and metallic pearl, from Plaid acrylic paints, into it.  I did add glitter paint but they are not glittery at all.  The stencil used is from Heidi Swapp.  I matted my pic with creamsicle colored tissue paper and then used Fancy Pants: Making Waves collection and the paper is called Blazing.
The dies and frames are from the Crate Paper: Poolside collection and they work well with this layout.  The picture is of me and my cousin on the beach in Miami soaking up some ray.  I love adding the gold accent pieces as well.

The gold "enamel dots" were added using the Faber Castell Texture Gems in gold.  It behaves just like Liquid Pearls does from Ranger.  I recently purchased these during and it was a three pack from Michael's and it came with a silver and a pearlescent white too.

I also have a process video for this layout. Please watch and subscribe to my channel on YouTube.
