TN layout// 'Still Me' by Traci Reed

Hello scrappy ladies! Today, I am working in my traveler's notebook and playing with Traci Reed's digital collection 'Still Me.'  I sent the digital files to print at my local Office Depot on laser paper.  The collection features a soft pastel colors and I simply love this periwinkle color of this paper because it matches the dress I am wearing in my photos.

I am scrapping photos from my Mother's Day photo shoot I had for 2019.  We asked a photographer to meet us at a near by park for these lovely photos.  I picked out Valentina's dress first and I was lucky to find this long polka dot maxi at Burlington Coat factory.

I printed the paper from the TN sizes papers so they work perfectly in my notebook.  I used the journaling cards for my title.

And I took the time to fussy cut out all the flowers and rainbow die cuts on this layout as well.

My process video is linked below for your viewing pleasure.  Till next time.

Greatest Adventure/ 12x12 Scrapbook Layout

Hello scrappy friends!  Today's layout came together effortlessly from my homemade kit or the month and extras from dishes on my desk.  I am scrapping a photo of Valentina and I both wearing black and white.

I used a cut file from Paige Evans for this layout cut on lavender colored card stock.  It has flowers with just the petals slightly bent upward.  It gives a great effect.

The rest of the elements like the leaves and butterflies were on my desk from a layout I never put together and I made them into a wreath around my photo for a focal area.

I then added glitter aqua sequins and enamel dots for added interest.

The acetate butterflies are from an old Heidi Swapp collection and also add a little bit of blue to the layout.

Iridescent glitter glue was added for some sparkle.  My process video is linked below to view.

Top 10 Layouts for 2019

Hello my scrappy friends! Thank you for visiting me once again.  I thought it would be fun to take a look at my favorite layouts for 2019.  I was able to scrap much more this year as a new mom to a 2 year old than I did that first year.  Its important to find time for self care and that is what scrapbooking is too me.  These are in no particular order, just my favorites for the year.

Smile// 12x12 Scrapbook Layout

Hello scrappy friends!  I have joined the some of my fellow YT creators in a series called "For the Love of Homemade Kits".  This series challenges us to make a kit using supplies from our stash following a recipe each month.  Each Monday, we will provide a layout using the kits we have made for the month.  I thought this was a wonderful idea to really make a dent in my extensive stash collection.  I shall link my kit video and the process video for this layout down below.

For this layout, I started off with a lovely whimsical heart cut file.  I did the offset cut in one of the floral papers from my kit that used purple tones.

I used gel medium to add areas of gold glitter to my cut files in different random areas.  I also added iridescent glitter glue to other random areas of the white cut file.  I love the look this gave the cut files while it lays on top of the offset.

For the background paper, I used the white brick patterned paper from an old Maggie Holmes collection.  Its a cream color and it really let the cut files shine on top.  Now I didn't originally choose purple embellishments, so I still stash dived to find a pack of purple flowers from HL that were in my craft room.

For my title I choose 'Smile' from a thicker collection and then picked and choose purple pieces of embellishments from the packs I choose for my homemade kit.

I was able to use one of the flair buttons on this layout too.  I had three corners of embellishment clusters for your eyes to travel around the page with ease.

The photo I am scrapping is of Valentina and I during our photo shoot for Mothers Day.  It was an adorable moment captured between the poses where I was in a deep laugh and Valentina was too.

December Daily 2019: Day 15-31

Lets continue on to share the completed pages from my December Daily 2019.  I kept the page simple for day 15, my sister and I love Snapchat filters and always do them before she leaves.  The holidays are no exception, and the holiday filters make our photos even more cheerful.  Day 16 is tucked into this pink envelop, all about a cute holiday event at the local chocolate factory that Valentina slept through in her stroller.  I even have the hanging parking ticket from this event inside.

Story 17 is about our annual family photo for our Christmas card this year.  I made a double interactive hinged door page.  I was able to include all my favorite photos from that days photo shoot.

Story 18, is my love for Starbucks coffee and my favorite one this season is the Nitro cold brew.  I used the actual coffee cups and punched out circles for this layout and made them into a tree.

Story 19, is all about my wonderful doxie, Zoe.  She had a bad arthritis flare up during the holidays and couldn't really walk very well so she is carried everywhere.

Story 20, is another annual tradition of  mine, the gathering of the new ornaments for that year.  I clustered them together for the photo and made another interactive page and fold out for my journaling.  I used white with gray number stickers from an old Studio Calico sheet.

Day 21 was spent wrapping Christmas gifts and I did not include a photo for this spread but a large piece of my actual wrapping paper for this year.  This cheerful Santa paper was from Target this year and included a tag for my journaling.

Day 22 we attended the last home game to the Miami Dolphins.  Miguel is a loyal fan and we have season tickets.  Since it was the last game I thought it was a perfect chance to take Valentina to her first Dolphin game.  She did so well and enjoyed it.  The crowds nor the loud noise seemed to have bothered her.

Day 23 was ugly sweater day at the office and our staff joined in on the fun.  We are thankful for them both and appreciate their hard work.  A small gift exchange was also had.

Day 24 was spent half at work and half with the family.  I loved this awesome Santa card I got from 5 below.  I used it as the day card and included my journaling inside.

Day 25 needs no explanation, family, gifts, good food and fun was had all day.

Day 28 was spent at Disneyworld, Magic Kingdom.  It was an amazing day with the whole family once again.

I concluded my DD with day 31, a fun but early News Years Eve with the family once again.  I am very happy I've completed another December Daily.  This is my 5th year doing this project and I love it more with Valentina in the world to share it with.  I hope you found my pages inspiring.
