Guest Designer for Cocoa Daisy May 2018 Kits

Hello my memory keeping friends!  Thank you for joining me for another fun memory keeping project.  For this project I am jumping into the May 2018 pocket page kit called Bicycles.  This kit has the same 6x6 patterned papers has the 12x12 kit but it included a ton of exclusive 3x4 cards and 4x6 cards to use in your pocket page albums.

I am documenting the week of Mothers Day.  My almost 6 month old enjoyed her first solid foods which was butternut squash.  She loved it and also made a mess.  My two doxies are getting use to having a baby around and I enjoyed taking her to work with me this week as well.  And on the weekend I enjoyed my first Mothers Day and spent time with the family.  I have been able to keep up with a PL album with my limited scrapbooking time for the last 6 months.

I fell in love with the red floral patterned paper from the 12x12 kit, so when I saw it again in this kit I simply had to use it on both spread so they are cohesive together.  I used all the embellishments included in this kit from the stamps, exclusive die cuts, washi tape, stickers and cards.

I love working with kits because all the products work together and your layouts can come together quickly.  I have a short process video for this double page layout for your viewing pleasure on my YouTube channel.

Good day scrappy friends!!  Evi here again with a 12x12 scrapbook layout using the May 2018 Summer Wishes Memory Keeping kit.  This kit has beautiful colors perfect for summer photo documenting.  I love the patterned paper called Sunshine because it already looks like mixed media with its large rainbow paint splatters.  I love the look of paint splatters.  And I love rainbow colors, so I absolutely had to use this patterned paper for a layout.

I then used the yellow card stock included in the kit as well as Sunkissed and used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out a 3 layered butterfly called Layered Butterfly Garland, ID #133094.  I made two different patches at two different sizes so that I could have the variation.

I clustered the three layers with the patterned paper and the yellow card stock.  Loved how these butterflies turned out.

I am scrapping two cute photos of Valentina hanging out in a white tiny rocking chair. It was a sunny beautiful day and the light is pretty and she is just a happy baby all the time.

The kit includes a 3x4 stamp set and I used a tiny sun smily face using black ink randomly on the layout for added black contrast.  I matted my photos on black paper and I used an exclusive phrase die cuts for my title, 'Love This Documented.'

Colorful die cut pieces are also included in the kit and used a few on fun foam to add more dimension to the layout.  Scrapping with these fun colorful butterflies and this paint splatter background made this layout come together easy for me.  I filmed my process video for this layout on my YouTube channel.  Please hop over and take a look.

Guest Designer for Cocoa Daisy May 2018 Kits

Good day my memory keeping friends!  My name is Evi and I am the guest designer for the month of May for Cocoa Daisy memory keeping kits.  I fell in love with the floral patterned paper from the collection called Good Times and took the time to cut out these red florals individually.  I find fussy cutting to be a calming activity to do.  I cut about half the sheet up and I have half to use later.

I then start off with white card stock and use a Prima stencil called Foliage with Golden light modeling paste.  I leave the modeling paste white because I did not want to take away from the red florals.  It adds interest and texture to the background.

I used Scotch Tacky glue to adhere the flowers down in a cluster around the top right corner around the photo.  I use fun foam to add some dimension to a few of the flowers and my photo.  The kit includes a 3x4 stamp set and i use the foliage stamp with black archival ink to add some contrast to the background.  For an added detail I also stamp the tiny doodled triple heart randomly in the background as well.  Love these little details in my layouts.

The photo is of my daughter and I wearing matching mommy and me headbands I made.  Valentina is almost 6 months old and I have tons of photos to scrap.  I am learning to adjust to mom life and realize I do not always have time to scrap.

I also use a few of the die cuts from the kit to add an embellishment cluster below and above the photo. The Cocoa Daisy also includes exclusive black phrase die cuts and I use one saying, 'Our Life in Photos' as my title for this layout.

Summer Wishes is a beautiful whimsical colorful collection and I enjoyed using it for this layout.  I filmed a process video and it is posted on my YouTube channel.  Stay tuned for a few more projects from me.
