Hello Scrapbook Friends!! For today's fun layout, I used a layered flower cut file by Paige Evans and enlarged it a lot. The cut file is the focal point for this layout and it worked beautifully. A fellow scrapbooker Zsoka Marco inspired this layout. She posted it herself in the Paige Evans FB group.
I recently hauled the Pick Me Up collection by Paige Evans and was able to use multiple pages from the 12x12 paper pad. I had to run this cut file through my Cameo 8 times to get all the layouts.
The end result was worth the time. For added interest, there are sequins added to the petals from SpiegelMom Scraps. The flair button for the center was from my stash as well
For added interest I added modeling paste through a floral Prima stencil in the corners of the 12x12 patterned paper, also from Pick Me Up.
I am scrapping two black and white photos of Valentina enjoying herself on a swing set at the park.

Hello scrappy ladies! I have a very colorful layout using a large die cut from the Silhouette Design Store. I had this wonderful colorful photo to scrap of Valentina in one of her outfits from her birthday party. We have a baby Frida Khalo themed Mexican themed party and I needed a layout to showcase all the fun colors.
I backed the cut file with yardstick in classic primary and secondary colors. This part took the most time and effort. Once it was complete the layout came together rather quickly.
My goal is to always go through my stash and pull elements to coordinate. For this layout the birds are from a Vicki Boutin collection. The fabric flowers are from Prima and I always have enamel dots available.
I used a hot pink background and I am still tempted to change it to white cause it may be a tad too colorful.
My layouts always get a few gold splatters from Heidi Swapp Color Shine.
The title was made with my Cameo as well. A script font to write out "Mexi-Rican", proudly representing her two ethnicities.

Hey scrappy friends! I simply love how this layout came out. I am finding my creative mojo again and its great. I am scrapping a photo of Valentina at 2 days old while in the hospital.
Fussy cutting can be a relaxing task for me. This layout started with cutting out all the butterflies from a Maggie Holmes paper from the Willow Lane collection. I also cut some butterflies from tracing paper, acetate and gold glitter wrapping paper.
The ombre purple background paper is from Paige Evan's Whimsical collection and it worked perfectly with the butterfly colors.
For added detail I used modeling paste through a butterfly stencil and I love how it peaks out from behind the cluster of butterflies.
For added detail I used a few wood veneer butterflies, clean gems, gold tiny word stickers and gold splatters.
Here is my process video on how my layout came together. Thank you for stopping by.
Happy Holidays Crafty Friends! I am so excited and I feel so accomplished for completing my December Daily 2018. I told myself to be satisfied with complete rather than perfect. In the end, I am smitten with my album and how wonderful it is. I used a majority of the Snow and Cocoa line from Crate Paper that was released 2 years ago. Last year I had a newborn baby and thought I would be able to scrap. Turns out I had no time. Opening weeks of motherhood are the toughest.
Valentina's first birthday party was actually on the first of December. It was a baby Frida themed party and it was the perfect opening layout and story for Day 1.
I liked the cohesiveness of my pink numbers cut out from pink glitter card stock and embellishments from the Snow and Cocoa line.
Day 6 we took Valentina to see Santa and that was a hilarious experience. She loved the snow and the trees but as soon as she saw the main guy she lost her marbles within seconds. Im glad the photographer snapped the initial photo seconds before she started hysterical crying.
My love for Starbucks runs deep all year round. But when the holiday designs come out, I become obsessed. Took each pattern of Starbucks cup and made them into PL cards and circle punched a bunch to remember all the beautiful colors for Day 7.
Paige Evans has some beautiful cut files to use year round and her holiday gingerbread house was no exception. Used it in a 6x8 pockets and it became a resting spot to my next story of our matching jammie tradition. Each year we all get a pair. Now we get to include Valentina in it as well.
How I love my sister, let me count the ways. Day 10, ten things I love about my sister. She comes and visits multiple times this year to help me with the baby. I love her more and more as we grow up. Snow and Cocoa and FaLaLa chipboard pieces here and a felt mint snowflake from Michaels.
We took our holiday card photos on Day 11 and my sister was the photographer. An older Heidi Swapp wood veneer and embellishments from the FaLaLa collection from Crate Paper. We printed our holiday cards this year from Staples.
Loving my Zoe who is aging like fine wine. She had a vet checkup on Day 15 and she is healthy and just aging with some arthritis pain. She has never liked going to the vet and she hides in the office every single time. But she looks so darn cute in her holiday sweater.
Last year memories to this year. Valentina was such a tiny little baby. I love documenting life and going back to visit it like this.
Pinterest fail on Day 18. I tried making red hand print ornaments for my family and it was an epic fail but I kept my practice runs and will write about her tiny hands. But my baby sitter did the ornament just right.
Stripes of patterned paper to make my fun Christmas Tree and I finally got around to telling the story of my tree on Day 22.
My inspiration for Day 25 was from Ali Edwards and her tag layout. All elements from Crate Paper Snow and Cocoa or FaLaLa. I love the tags to show our day. Below you will find my YT flip through video. Thank you so much for joining me. Till next project.
Welcome to my corner of the internet. I am a new mom, a dog mom, a coffee addict, a scrapbooker, a sweets addict and an art journaler. I love memory keeping and sharing it with you.
