HOME// Scrapbook Layout

Happy Easter at Home! Easter was a little different this year.  We all spent Easter at home due to this crazy pandemic occurring in our world.  It may be different but none the less, special for our little one.  We still managed to have a fun easter egg hunt in our backyard and captured a beautiful photo worth a scrapbook layout.

I am using a cut file from Paige Evans she offered for free in her scrapbook group on FB.  I used a 'Easter' paper pad from Michaels for entire layout.

I used punches and fussy cut out all the embellishments from different cut apart papers in the collection.

I love the epoxy flair I received to embellish with from Scrappin Happy Studio.  I used three different flairs in three of the clusters.

I love all the different elements about easter for this layout all from one paper pad.

Here is my process video linked below for your viewing pleasure.

Love Today// 12x12 Scrapbook Layout

Hello my scrappy ladies!  For today's layout, I am joining the ladies with Shimelle's Sketches Reimagined. This is the sketch that inspired my layout.  And I used a Hot Buy paperpad from Michaels for this layout as well.  It's called Classic Chic.

I started out with fussy cutting out these lovely flowers from a patterned paper along with the foliage. I then used the opposite colored paper for the corners of patterned paper.  This worked out perfectly.

For the added strip of paper I used a piece of acetate in my scrap bin to add to each corners edge.  It was black polka dot so it worked well for the layout as well.

I am scrapping a photo from my Mother's Day photo shoot from 2019 with my little munchkin.  My title is from a thicker pack from Dear Lizzy reading 'Love Today'.

For added embellishments I used Epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio.  These are less dimensional flair and these remind me of Rea Dunn font.  I used the Smile on the bottom right corner and Happy in the upper left corner.

For added detail to the flowers I added gold glitter paint to the centers and then added periwinkle watercolor to the centers to match my dress.  You cannot get a more customized layout then that.  My process video is linked below.

My Happy// 12x12 Scrapbook Layout

Hello scrappy ladies!  Please tell me I'm not the only one who hoards pretty paper for years.  lol.  I absolutely love this paper for the Flourish collection by Maggie Holmes.  And I was needing a layout that would still show off a majority of the gorgeous flowers.  I managed it, and created a thick frame with it.

I gutted the paper and left a 2.5 inch frame with it on white card stock.  With the remainder, I fussy cut out a few of the large pink flowers for embellishments.

With these flowers I clustered them in opposite corners of the frame and placed my photo of me and Valentina in the middle.

For added interest I added gold foiled elements from the Sunny Days collection by Maggie Holmes and gold dotted washi tape.

My title is from a Vicki Boutin Thicker pack 'My Happy' in thick gold chunky glitter.  This layout came together rather easily and I hope you give a try for your album.  My process video in linked below.  Thank you for stopping by.

Love You// Mixed Media Scrapbook Layout

Hello Scrappin Ladies!  I simply love how this layout turned out.  It was a labor of love to fussy cut all the flowers from one patterned paper, but I wanted them all bunched together.  I used two patterned papers from the Maggie Holmes Willow Lane collection for this layout.

I cut up a the stripes up to arrange all along the bottom of the page to anchor the layout.  I was torn between two photos, I went with this photo of Zoe and Valentina together because it was a horizontal orientation.

Once I had my basic layout set, I could have left the white card stock alone and it would have been a beautiful layout.  But, you know me and my love for mixed media and playing with my art supplies... so that is what i did.

I did the 'packaging' technique with Distress Oxide inks in Picked Raspberry and Marigold.  The pink and orange color compliment the flowers and the details in the stripes.

The title and dimensional stickers all came from the coordinating thicker pack for Willow Lane.

I then added a few of the gold embossed floral elements from the Maggie Holmes Sunny Days collection.

This layout is feminine and floral and I love my two girls in the photo.  My process video is linked below for your viewing pleasure.  Thanks for stopping by.

Happy/

Hello my Scrappy Ladies! I hope everyone is doing wonderful this lovely spring day. Today’s floral layout is perfect for the lovely spring weather we are experiencing here in Florida. I am featuring two different April release sequins packs in this layout, Spring Fling and Hippity Hoppity. These two packs complimented the colors of the florals.

These florals are from an older Paige Evans collection that I fussy cut out from a 12×12 paper. The pastel color palette went perfectly with the dress Valentina is wearing in the photos.

There are actually two cut files used in this layout but a majority of both are covered by the large flower arrangements. One is a circular repeat pattern on white card stock for added interest to the background. The other is a daisy flower wreath underneath all the flowers that peaks out with the pink card stock around the wreath arrangement.

I am scrapping two recent photos of Valentina striking a pose with her favorite stuffed animal. She was wearing a borrowed hot pink bow and rainbow sunglasses to complete her fashionista moment. There are 5 more great poses to use, but I thought the two standing up were great together. I matted them with white card stock and rounded all the corners.

Once the flowers were in place the sequins added can start. I first went in with Hippoty Hoppity with the white dimensional flower pieces all around the circle and then I went in with the mint green sequins and the blue flowers too. I only added the pink sequins from the Spring Fling pack.

I love the sprinkling of added detail the sequin provide to any layout. This spring layout makes my heart so happy. I hope you are playing with some sequins on your layouts.  My process video is linked below for your viewing pleasure.  Till next layout.

The Sweet Life// Maggie Holmes Sunny Days

OMG ladies!  This layout has got to be one of my most recent favorites this year.  I love all my layouts but I simply love how this one turned out.  It was a labor of love to fussy cut out all the sea shells from a patterned paper from the Sunny Days collection by Maggie Holmes.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out two large circles from the sand beach and water beach patterned paper.  I wanted to use both and cutting circles out worked perfectly.

Once the circles were placed, I started arranging all the sea shells around to form a wreath.

Chip board elements were added around the wreath to add texture and dimension.

The photo I am scrapping is of me during my pregnancy with Valentina.  My sister took it while we walked along the beach.

I then added teal, pink and coral sequin around the wreath and some aqua thread behind the photo.  There are lovely little elements sprinkled throughout the layout.  I just love how this layout turned out.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I have linked my process video below for your viewing pleasure.

Better Together// MH Sunny Days collections

Hello scrappy ladies!  I have a pink monochromatic layout for today using the Maggie Holmes Sunny Days collection.  I picked this collection on Blitsy.com.  I fussy cut all the pink peonies out of one single patterned paper found in the pad.  I love fussy cutting at night once Valentina goes to bed.  I can watch other YouTube videos whiles I do this part.

The light pink background paper and the flourish pink boarder paper are all from the Sunny Days collections too.  Pink is one of my favorite colors anyways.

I am scrapping two fun photos taken with Snapchat filters on our faces while at the office.  Valentina never wants to smile for selfies.  lol.  When I started playing with the arrangement of the flowers, I had them horizontal, then in a diagonal, then in a wreath, I finally settled on two vertical columns.  It gave a space for the photos to be.

I popped one photo on pop dots and the other tucked underneath.  I added two pink dollies for added interest to the background.  And no layout is complete without some gold elements.  The butterfly and hearts are from the embossed gold sheet from the Sunny Days collection from Maggie Holmes.
