Hi! Evi here with a mixed media layout using my April Hip Kit. I have been inspired by spring and all the oranges, pinks and yellows of new flowers blooming. I started off using the Elle Studio: Cienna collection paper in Confetti. The colors in this patterned paper were gorgeous. I took my Dear Lizzy Stencil from February's kit and used Dylusion Ink sprays in Pure Sunshine and Bubblegum pink and a Tim Holtz Distress Stain in Squeezed Lemonade. The colors worked beautifully together.
The picture is of me, and I just loved the colorful lenses of my sunglasses and my hair effortless blown across my face. It was just a serendipitous picture. I matted it with vellum, then butter cardstock from American Crafts followed by Amy Tangerine: Rise and Shine collection and the Clair paper. I was able to use up some of the scraps from this kit in this layout.
The dies and wood veneers are from the Rise and Shine collection from Amy Tangerine and the big "Just be you" die is from My Mind's Eye Die Cut pack from the Wild Berry Jubliee collection. I sprayed it pink with the Bubblegum Dylusion Spray.
The sequins are from Maggie Holmes Confetti line, these were included in the kit as well.
